Notter Bridge Dance out - June 26th 2008
Not our best experience, a low audience turnout - probably not helped by the weather.
The pub itself seemed unwelcoming and the publican indifferent, definately not one to return to next year.
The Sunrise Chrismas Dinner - June 21st 2008
Saturday the 21st June and our Christmas dinner kicks off with a vengence!
We all assembled in the evening at the Globe Inn, Lostwithiel, and proceeded to bring the xmas cheer to all our fellow diners, needless to say many were a little confused but all certainly bemused.
As the evening wore on and the level of imbibed alcohol rose things took an ever greater turn for the racous. All in all a brilliant night out and we now look forward to our Summer Solstice meal on Dec 21st.

What a great weekend with three dance spots on Saturday & Sunday
The audiences were so supportive and they all enjoyed the dances where they could join in - Sunshine Reel & Keel Over
Two of our friends from Bude Jive Club turned up to support us and as a result got dragged in to dancing with us, Ryan and Nan also got into the spirt of things and joined in with a spirit.
Our grateful thanks to Kevin and his team who looked after us so well.
Hopefully we will return next year and possibly before.

St. Mabyn Inn Dance out - June 12th 2008
Lovely evening spent in a fairly quiet location. The public were brilliant and joined in for the participation dance with great gusto.
Once insde the music inspired one and all with our guest singer Lorraine enthralling the crowd with her songs.
We were also privileged to hear Sal's new song 'Jim the Carter Lad' for the first ably supported by Martyn and followed up by John, Derek and Sandie, each of whom performed in turn.
Cross House Inn Dance out - June 5th 2008
Brilliant evening with great support for the dancing, plenty of volunters for the joining in dance.
The singing went down a storm and we all got a great deal from our visit.
Eliot Inn Dance out - May 27th 2008
Another great dance out followed by a superb pub session with lots of songs and music.
Derek took the pub by storm with his solo sessions and Martyn's shanties got everyone singing alone.
Great music as always from John and Sandy, Sue got the crowd going especially in accompaniment to Sal's 'Manchester Rambler' and Graham's 'Jump down'.
Many thanks to Jacquie, her Mum, and Phil for helping and being such great supporters.
Well done the Eliot for looking after us so well, good on you Steve.

Inaugural Dance Out
On Sunday December 30th 2007 Sunrise Border Morris danced out for the first time at the Earl of Chatham pub, Lostwithiel.
This first showing of our new side was well attended by members of other sides and a large number of musicians, all of whom we would like to express our profound thanks to for turning up.
This also provided an excellent opportunity for us to air our new dances.
Charities
We are currently in the process of choosing a charity to focus our collections on for this season. As a new side we hope to provide some financial support for those less fortunate than ourselves and to try a bring a little sunshine in to peoples lives.
Currently our favoured idea is the Children's Hospice South West (http://www.chsw.org.uk/), and subject to approval by members at the next meeting this will be our target charity.
